Concertino is an interactive mat with a supplementary tablet application that uses movement to create musical compositions.

Who is it for

The main audience for Concertino is elementary-aged children who are learning how to read notes and rhythms.

In response to interviews with music teachers, a recurring teaching tool was movement. While Concertino is not meant to teach the most technical music reading and writing skills, it is more so a tool that explores collaborative music making.
